Field Service Technician

Job Description:
This is a physically demanding job!
We take pride in removing trip-hazards for cities, HOA's, management companies, and private businesses for over 18 years. We need people who can keep a professional smile on their face even when dirty. Techs are responsible for going to assigned job sites and performing concrete slicing of an approved job. Technicians are responsible for ensuring all the hazards at job sites have been repaired or marked for replacement and adhere to quality standards. In addition, technicians will be required to do minor concrete repairs and expansion joint replacements. Some days may involve assessing properties for hazards.
Compensation:
$15/hr during 90-day probation/training period. After you have completed 4 qualified days of cuts and training, the base hourly rate increases to $18/hr. Upon completion of OSHA10 training, the base rate is moved to $20/hr.
Medical / Dental / Vision / offered after 60 days. Paid Vacation and Major Holidays after the first year.
Duties:
  • Surveying:Technicians are trained and responsible for surveying various job sites. During surveying, they measure the cuts and identify them using our bid technology.
  • Slicing:Technicians are trained to remove identified hazards which are previously identified, using proper equipment and our patented technology process.
  • Reporting:Technicians are required to maintain detailed and accurate reporting of their daily work.
  • Training:Technicians are required to participate in continual training to maintain company compliance with our patented process and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Technicians will have interactions with the public and private residences. It is expected that you are to present and carry yourself in a professional manner at all times, even in possibly difficult or confrontational moments.
Qualifications:
  • A can-do attitude! We are looking for “A” team members. If you do not work well with others, please move on.
  • Great customer service. We talk to a lot of people in the field. You must be able to remain professional at all times.
  • Valid California Driver’s License along with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to clear a background check and pass a drug screening.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean Shaven (OSHA requirement for respirator)
  • Healthy, with an ability to lift 50lbs dead weight.
  • OSHA 10 training a plus
